Sahara Experience (From Marrakesh)

We’ll start the day with an early pick-up from your hotel in Marrakesh and begin our journey toward the desert. Along the way, we’ll pass through the breathtaking landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains before arriving at the iconic ksar of Ait Ben Haddou – a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for countless movies and series. After a short visit and time to explore, we’ll continue the scenic drive through the Dades Valley and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, arriving in Tinghir by evening, where we’ll settle in for the night.

After breakfast in Tinghir, we’ll head to one of Morocco’s natural wonders – the impressive Todra Gorges. You’ll have time to walk between the towering cliffs and take in the dramatic scenery. From there, the journey continues as the landscape begins to shift and the desert draws near. By the afternoon, we’ll reach Merzouga, right on the edge of the Sahara. There, you’ll hop on a camel (there are ATVs too) and ride through the golden dunes to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner, live music by the fire, and a night under the stars in the heart of the Sahara.

We’ll wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes—an unforgettable moment to end your desert adventure. After breakfast at the camp, we’ll begin the journey back to Marrakesh. It’s a long drive, but a smooth and comfortable one, with plenty of chances to relax, reflect, and take in the changing landscapes along the way. We’ll arrive in Marrakesh by the evening and drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of an incredible 3-day journey through Morocco.
