After a full day of exploration, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in Fez, with unforgettable memories of the Sahara Desert.

Day 01 :

Fez to Sahara Desert

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Fez at 7:30 AM. From there, you'll embark on a scenic drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Merzouga. The journey will take you through winding roads and breathtaking landscapes, offering you a taste of Morocco's diverse scenery. You will stop in Midelt for a traditional Moroccan lunch, where you can sample local dishes and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. After lunch, continue the drive, and as you approach Merzouga, the landscape gradually transforms into the golden sands of the Sahara.

Once you arrive in Merzouga, you'll mount your camels for a memorable ride through the desert. The peaceful rhythm of the camels will give you a unique perspective of the vast sand dunes that stretch endlessly before you. In the afternoon, you’ll reach your desert camp, where you can relax and take in the stunning surroundings. After a welcome drink, you’ll have the chance to explore the dunes or simply unwind before dinner.

In the evening, you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars at the camp, a wonderful opportunity to savor local dishes like tagine and couscous. Afterward, you can enjoy some stargazing, as the Sahara offers one of the clearest night skies in the world. You’ll spend the night in a Berber-style tent, surrounded by the silence and beauty of the desert.

Day 02 :

Sahara Desert to Fez

On the second day, you’ll wake up early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise over the dunes. The early morning light casts beautiful shadows across the golden landscape, offering an unforgettable sight. After the sunrise, enjoy a light breakfast at the camp before beginning your journey back to Fez.

You’ll ride camels back to the main road and freshen up before continuing your drive. As you make your way back, you’ll stop at Azrou, known for its cedar forests and resident Barbary monkeys. Take a short walk through the forest to see these playful creatures in their natural habitat. Continuing the journey, you’ll stop in Ifrane, a charming town known for its Swiss-like architecture and cool climate. It’s a great place to stretch your legs and explore before the final leg of the journey.

In the evening, you'll make your way back to Fez, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel to conclude your Sahara Desert escape.
